Sadly large part of this cemetery (including many just pieces of thumb stones) was transplanted here after the Italians (running the island at that time) decided to make a public park of the original cemetery in the Jewish Quarters thereby forcing the Jews to move it to an out-of-town location miles away... ------------------- Update 9/2022: Names and dates transcribed, corrections done, and mergers of duplicate records done.
